About Rising Stars Learning Academy

Our program is open daily to children ages infant to school-age, and we offer an after-school and summer program to school-aged children. Our focus is to give children enriching opportunities to develop through both child-directed play experiences and curriculum time. We believe children learn best through play and a structured curriculum because it enhances growth and development in all areas: physically, socially, emotionally, creatively, and intellectually. We strive to ensure that the moment you enter our doors, we reflect a child-friendly, fun, and educational environment.

Philosophy

At Rising Stars Learning Academy we believe that play is the primary mode of learning and that daycare should be fun and filled with daily learning experiences, and because early learning skills start from the beginning it can be achieved through a variety of hands-on activities. Our daily activities include both planned activities and spontaneous learning which is centered on the children's’ interests and abilities. We present information through games and activities that will engage each child. Our daily routine include art, language, math, science, pretend-play, music, and movement, to create fun and variety.

Our goal is to expose children to both indoor and outdoor play. We provide flexibility in our routine both as a group and as individuals to meet the needs of every child within our program. All of our activities and routines are designed to create a self-image for the children while creating a positive and safe environment as they develop their abilities to care for themselves and interact with the world around them.
